We are CHAMPing it out at The Meadows Elementary Library
Everyone is expected to respect the rights and privileges of others. The student’s responsibilities for achieving a positive learning library is as follows:
- Food, drinks and gum are not allowed in the library.
- Do not create a disturbance by making noise, talking loudly, shouting, pushing, or any other rowdy behavior.
- Designated Quiet Areas are for quiet reading and studying. Extensive, loud conversations, joint study activity and tutoring are not permitted in designated Quiet Areas of the Library.
- Actively work on class work, homework, research, projects, or reading while in the library.
- Use the library computers and other technology without violating the DeSoto ISD Student Use of Technology policy.
- Library users are expected to talk quietly. Excessive socializing is inappropriate and discouraged.
- All group work must be done with respect for other users; participants may be asked to relocate if their activity disturbs others.
- To prevent disturbance from ring tones, cell phones must be placed on vibrate and the sound turned off when entering the Library.
- The privilege of using the library will be restricted if a student violates the code of conduct
- Take pride in our library and dispose of trash.
